Apex FAQ

  • Who can attend?
    • The fourth annual SWUVSA Apex Conference is primarily intended for young professionals and college students but is open to any interested parties above the age of 18 at the time of conference. For attendees under the age of 18 at the time of conference, you are ineligible to attend.
  • When is it?
    • Friday April 5th – Sunday April 7th, 2019
  • Where is it?
    • The conference will be held near Denver, Colorado. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the conference site. Attendees flying in for conference should fly into Denver International Airport (DEN).
  • What does the registration fee cover?
    • T-shirt
    • Name badge
    • Gala seat and meal
    • Saturday Lunch and Dinner
    • All conference programming: keynote speeches, workshops
  • What do I do about housing?
    • The conference is a 3-day event and although we cannot provide housing, we highly recommend staying at the below hotel. Apex-4 conference has some block pricing for attendees, they will be first come first serve and details will come later.
  • What should I wear?

  • What’s the weather going to be like?
    • The weather during this time of year is typically cool with an average of 65°F/35°F. Despite this, Colorado’s weather is known to be unpredictable during this time of year, please bring something warm to wear in the event that the weather turns cold.
  • What’s the schedule for the weekend?
    • The official conference schedule will be announced closer to the conference date.
  • Can I just attend the Gala?
    • Yes! Standalone tickets details will come out shortly.
